Pop-Up PlayZone

Pop-Up PlayZone is an interactive mobile indoor play area for children aged 0 to 6 years old. Our unique space has been carefully crafted to encourage a wide range of enriching activities for kids. Within our PlayZone, you'll discover foam climbing structures, equipment to enhance gross motor skills, and toys for fostering fine motor skills and imaginative play. From miniature cars and kitchen sets to versatile building blocks and beyond, our space is designed to provide endless fun and learning opportunities for children. This activity is geared towards ages 0-6 and will be hosted from 10am-11:30am on the first and third Thursday of every month at the Laurelwood Community Center.

Family Movie Nights

Family movie nights are back! Currently, our movie nights will be held in the Bromley Room located at the Siuslaw Public Library from. Every month there will be a different movie playing with families of all ages in mind. We will have a quiet space in the back of the room where kids can do an activity as well.

ParentSpeak: Sharing Wisdom, Nurturing Bonds

ParentSpeak was put together with parents in mind! In this safe space, parents are able to mingle and speak about specific topics put together by SFC. Our hope with this activity is to bring more families together in our community. We want to help them find a sense of community and support through this activity. Child care and a small grazing table will be provided. Dates and times are still TBD. 

Florence Farmers Market

Our local Farmers Market has put together a special spot for children activities. While at the market, kids can stop by and create things that are market related. We have done activities such as fruit and vegetable stamping, rock painting, seed planting, and more! The Florence Farmers Market is a seasonal event. You can find it at the Port of Siuslaw Boardwalk every Tuesday from 3pm-6pm from May until October.
